AWWW this is such a wonderful story - and to think that she was thinking of you and put your name to it: I would cherish this quilt forever and quilt it. When quilting your thought will be of her and all the love she shared for you: Precious Memories:::

Lucky you. I have a quilt top that my aunt made many yrs ago. In fact there were two of them that were similar. I finished them and tied them as I thought tying was what she would have done. I finsihed them when I was in my 60's. On the label I put quilt top made by (her name) and finished by her niece (my name) and added the date. I kept one and gave one to my daughter. I cherish it as it's made from clothing that her family wore.

What as stunner. Lovely work and a special quilt. It will last longer once it is quilted and all the seams are stable so let that spur you on. A great gift from one generation to another.
