    I agree - and think what a wonderful heirloom it will be to have a quilt made across generations. :) The older I get, the more seriously I take that advice to use the good dishes, etc. because you won't always have the chance.

    I have a Sun Bonnet Sue made by my husband's great grandmother that started my quilting journey. It was given to me when my daughter was born, and she was in her early 20s before I started quilting it. Even though my quilting is not perfect, it is now a completed quilt. :)
