    You did a terrific job quilting it. I often do not like the way traditional quilts are quilted but you hit the nail on the head with this one. The quilt is the show and not the quilting and that is the way it should be, in this case. I feel, and this is my personal opinion that often the quilting takes over the quilt instead of complimenting it. You did the quilting in a way that it makes a nice quilt into a work of art. She should be so happy with it, Iknow I would be.

    That brings back memories! My grandma made me a Grandmother's Flower garden quilt for my graduation from HS. She hand quilted mine with some quilting in and out of the hexagons.
    You made this one great. She'll love it!:)
