    Handpieced and handquilted. I can't take credit for the peicing my grandma gave it to me but I did quilt it and it still needs binding.. which I am dreading ...

    Binding ouch! In this case, I think I might look into the method that is like a facing. You sew the exact shape by machine and the binding/facing is ALL turned to the back and hand stitched down. I can't remember what this method is called...no show binding?...invisible binding? maybe someone else will know.

    This is so lovely. great piecing job and quilting :) I love doing these hexi's. Working on a full size quilt (have been for 1-1/2yrs) hope to have it done before I croak!
