My little grandson turned 5 on the 15th. He told me he needed a quilt for his mom's house so he could sleep better like he does at home with his packer's quilt. So Sunday during the game, we both went to buy fabric (his color choices), we both cut it out, I made the strips, he made the squares. He even handed me every piece while I was sewing. I was amazed that he stayed in there for 4.5 hours. He is very active and never sits still. So it is not 100% matching, but for a 5 year old helping..it looks pretty great.

Look at that adorable, happy face! Who says a quilt has to match up anyway? I think it's fantastic. What a wonderful afternoon you two shared.
