very nice it is going to be really pretty they should be proud and so should mom and grandma. I wish I had some to get me interested in that at an early age. Mom was always in a hurry to complete things and move on to something else. plus she took care of grandma and grandpa so she didn't have time.

Hi Sewmom, Thank you for posting pictures of a delightful time for Grandma! Grandchildren are sew precious...
I adore the tongue action in the third photo.
Your terrific photos reminded me of the photos I have of sewing with one of my grandsons this past summer. He is 4 and loves putting the pedal to the metal.. As soon as I get a chance I will post mine in a new topic.

Congratulations to you and your super grandsons! They look sooo engrossed in their task! They will remember this experience for the rest of their lives and have something to show for it!! A pat on the back for you too!!

That's so cute.
I just read an article in the Quilter's Newsletter today where a 71 year old gentleman wrote that his grandmother taught him to quilt on a treadle machine when he was about 6 years . He said if he made a mistake his grandmother would make him unsew it and do it over. But she would always allow him to leave one mistake in the quilt and told him that only God makes things perfect, so one mistake was allowable. He said even though his grandmother had passed, he still loved to quilt.
Your grandsons will remember how you took an interest and allowed them to do this. They are two cute young guys.
Thanks for sharing.
