I wanted to make a unique quilt for each of my grandsons with their interests in mind. One is totally into machines, robots in particular. I found a small picture online and did a by guess and by golly measurements to make a full size robot quilt. His brother loves animals and after seeing the robot wanted a "big" puppy so I made up my own pattern for it. The third grandson loves to read so the library quilt was best for him with book titles of Harry Potter, camping and trombones for his interests.
