Wonderful quilt. You did a wonderful job. I have a question. How do you do the applique without getting a really hard and stiff. I've tried doing it by basting and then machine sewing, but I can't get it to work with the iron on adhesive. Any suggestions? What am I missing? Gwyn

    Gwyn,
It is not fused.I paper pieced the flowers, then hand appliqued them onto the background block.the flower pot is also appliqued using freezer paper which is removed,It is very nice and soft.
