Inspiration overload! I had my dd, Katie with me. She saw a few designs she wants to try and asked me to make a sunbonnet sue for her. We had a great time.

Cissy, that's cool your daughter went with you and wants to make a quilt too. How old is she? My 3 daughters have not been bitten by the quilting bug....yet. I keep hoping that someday at least one of them will want me to teach them to quilt instead of just make them another quilt. Right now they are at the ages where they are too busy with school, or work or new marriages (21,24&261/2)

Katie is 10. She has been 'quilting' for almost 2 years. She has entered quilts in our state fair for judging and won ribbons for both. :D Here are her prize winning quilts.....

Cissy, thank you so much for taking the photos and then taking the time to post them. The quilts were beautiful and I enjoyed looking at every one. It was almost as good as being there!!

Katie's quilt is beautiful! Congratulations on winning the ribbons, I have never entered a quilt myself. I think it is wonderful that she wants to do that with you. :) :)

Wow! Why do I always find out about these after they're over? Sorry I missed it. Was it at the Conoco-Phillips building?
