What a wonderful friend. I hope you're still going to get the Bernina, everyone should have at least two machines to prevent the panic that grabbed your heart when you found out that your's couldn't be fixed.

Yes, I am a good friend to her as well.... I re-designed her kitchen, and we together primed & painted it in 1 day from early morn to 12:20 am the next day. We've been friends for many years. And yes, I'm making her new curtains for her kitchen...and a small wall hanging to match (a surprise).
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

She's a terrific friend, and I hope she says the same about me...I have a feeling she does.

Being a 'frugalista', I've wrestled with the idea of 2 machines, but won't get 2. My sewing friends ALL have at least 2 machines for just such situations, or when 1 is being repaired. So I've decided that wisdom needs to prevail and yes, I'm still buying the Bernina 220. So I too will be a 2 machine woman. I still will wrestle with that....1 woman with 2 machines.

I love this board! You all the know the panic that did grab my heart! I'm thankful for wonderful friends, and I'm back at my applique block already! and the other projects are lined up!
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

Yes, I put the Bernina on layaway so I'll pick it up when I pay it off....but I wrestle with having 2 machines. How many are too many?

    Kind Regards,
