Default For Great Grandchild #6 Liam

Through induction he will make his appearance on Thursday...# 7 will be the first of July. My children and grandchildren took the bible too literally where it said "go forth and multiply" lol.. It was wonderful for me when my grandson called and hinted he'd like one for his baby...so I jumped in...I knew I made his covers when he was little and he never wanted to let them go and he was reaching for that same feeling for his child...I did stitch in the ditch...the picture doesn't show how fluffy and comfortable it is.. I also don't have pink carpeting..the wonders of digital photography.

I was so tickled when I saw a quilt made of this fabric posted from a quilt show....sorta validated my picking which is not too good. The quilt went pretty well, but the bag required many repetitions of my mantra.."WHAT WERE YOU THINKING"..has 3 pockets on each side. It's reversible too... Finally got it finished and will send tomorrow. Scanned the fabric to make the cards...they are for later on when he can teach him to match up the cards with the critters. Learned much for the future...One thing...have a little iron..if it falls off don't try to catch it with your hands on the hot plate Ouch!....again the mantra...lol Thanks for looking..

That fabric is SO cute.....they're going to love it!! I learned an "iron" lesson like that too...I didn't grab it but now have a nice melted iron print on my carpet where it landed! I do love that fabric!!

So cute, love the fabric. I also love the idea of matching the cards with the quilt. I have bought some charm packs with intentions of making a few bags for xmas. Hope I do as well as you.

How sweet that your grandson wanted the same experience he had. That is a cute quilt. And I like the name Liam. Awesome
