This is a quilt pieced and hand quilted by my great grand mother who died in 1940. Stored in a Spacesaver bag, it was full of brown spots. I soaked it in Amway All Fabric bleach in the bath tub lowered and lifted by a sheet. Rinsed in there also. then into my front loader washing machine on gentle cycle with nothing added. After the spin I've been drying it on top of my ironing board supported by a clothes basket and a stool on dining room table with the fan blowing over and under it. NO MORE BROWN SPOTS. Thank you for all your suggestions. Marbeth
