    Love using scraps for backgrounds of my art quilts, and thread painting the main subject, in this case an owl.

    I love that! We have a family of screech owls that nest & raise youngsters every year...needless to say, I love owls. You did a fantastic job.

    fabulous use of your scraps. Do you fuse those down? Also love your use of an actual branch with the 3D leaves coming off of it.
