Default Green and black 9-patch lap or baby quilt top

It is approximately 43 x 43 - unfinished size. I will put 1/2 inch wide black binding on it. Have no idea what I will use for backing.

I show the back sides - because my Mom was "one of those" that looked at the inside of garments and the back side of needlework.

I had originally constructed the 9-paches like they are - then I deconstructed them because I was going to make a checkerboard - but I didn't have enough of the black print to checkerboard it - so I sewed the 9-patches back together and this is what I got.

I have maybe 10 square inches - total - of green bits left.

Very nice, neatly pieced, like the black binding to finish. Mom would be proud!

Very pretty, a black binding will finish it off nicely. I really like the black print.
