    My best advice is to have fun with it. And keep in mind that your quilt is not likely to turn out Exactly like mine, since there is no real pattern, per se. By that I mean that Karen Eckmeier's Golf Courses pattern gives you the necessary "how-to's" for creating this type of landscape. But, unlike an applique scene, there are no patterns to copy, trace etc.

    Really like your quilt. I think the method produces a great visual impact. I am really impressed with your border because it harkens back to the stereotypical picture of the attire of golfers-always the sox.
