Grocery Bag Holder
What to do with orphan blocks?
This is part of organizing my smaller space. I incorporated this orphan block and used part of my stash of fabric that I might not use in a quilt. And I doubled it over to use more and to do the quilting. You know the white strapping that now comes on heavy packages? I used that to hold the top open. It just fits in the space between the wall and the fridge.

That is such a neat idea!! I used a wine bottle sack which was a souvenier brought to me by my granddaugher from a class trip to D.C. I had no use for it as a wine sack so opened up the bottom and applied elastic.

That is perfect for the spot! I used the packing strap for my thread catcher edge by my sewing machine for the same reason. I confiscated mine from the garbage at Walmart. They must think I am a hoarder at Walmart as I ask for my hangers with the little plastic clothespins for hanging my seasonal runners in my closet too.
