The Fastest design wall you can get is to get a nice big piece of flanel and some tacks for bulletin boards, and hang it on the wall, doesn't take many tacks, they leave very small holes when you take them down. Your quilt pieces may stick to the flanel on their own, or you may need a pin or two, but you will have a good view of your work in progress, and it's great art! ;) ;)

Get a queen size (or any size actually) cotton batting. sew a sleeve in both ends and put a curtain rod through one end. Now put two to four large 3M hanging hooks on the cement and hang your curtain rod from them. The bottom sleeve is for you to put another heavier curtain rod in to hold the batting taut, but it's not strictly necessary. I just found it easier.

Here is my neices kaleidoscope quilt. It will get a skinny yellow border then a wider border of the print. I will post one more after I get it finished and quilted.

I STILL have two basket quilt tops to finish for *gulp* Easter  . Blocks are done, one top is half finished. They are being sashed and put on point and i have NEVER done point...lol. Soooooo I am learning as I go!

I have FINISHED all the octogons from the floral master fabric  . I still have a few sitting here getting ready to iron but that is it. I will start sorting them and placing them on my design wall in the next few days

very pretty I have not done a kaleidascope quilt, just started a whack and stack and a OBW..you must have alot of time to quilt ,,,last week I counted how many quilts I am in the middle of and its 27,,,but slowly they get done..I work full time and long arm quilt on the side so my own work comes around slowly! Congrats on the beautiful quilts youve done!
