What a lovely tribute to your Dad. I would ModPog the photos to a board with paper sashing and border turning it into a quilt. Then it would be able to be hung and be a tribute permanently to your Dad.

My oh MY!! Can't believe one person has done so much...I am proud of you!! And I don't even know you. Your dad and your family I know are just so impressed with your service and generosity. What a tribute to your Dad!!!!!!!!!!!!
