Your trip to the show sounds wonderful. And how cool is it that Eleanor Burns will take the time to have her picture taken with you!!! That just says so much about her, doesn't it? I so admire that woman. For me, going to a quilt expo would be heaven. I'm kicking myself because I didn't go to the huge one we had here in Denver this summer.

Awesome! Now that we have Directv I get Quilt in a Day. She looks very nice in person. I'm looking forward to my first big quilt show. I went to the one here in Huntsville and it is small to say the least...

Tisha, I had issues with my camera, but posted a link to a web site that has lots of Quilt Festival pictures & a couple of videos. Go here:

So pleased you had a great time, the photo of you & Eleanor Burns is lovely with all those quilts surrounding you there you must have been in seventh heaven!!!!!!!!

A friend & I are going next year & this morning my cousin has asked if she & her friend can come with us too. We are going to meet up with my very good friend from here on the board Marcia & some of her friends too.
I just know we shall have a ball!!!!!!!! I can't wait.

BTW did you take any pics or aren't camera's allowed????

Thanks again for sharing - Tisha .[/quote]

So glad you had a wonderful time. It's hard to see things in just a day or two. It takes that long just to look at the quilts.

I went with a friend for the first time 2 years ago and can't wait to go back again. I'm hoping for next year, but will have to see.

it is my biggest quilting ambition to go to Houston. The only time we made it to USA was Florida. The kids justn't wouldn't understand the difference!
