    The pattern name is "Patches of Blue." We had several patterns we were voting on when we picked this years pattern and I said I'd only vote for that one if we did it in red. A couple of other people agreed with me and it got voted in but only if we did it in red. Since I was the one that wanted red I got put on the committee and two of us picked out all the fabrics.

    We also made the center larger by adding more blocks all the way around. It also had birds in the center of each border that we left off. We decided they looked too much like grackles so we changed the birds to the corner flowers.
