    Default Gumdrop baby quilt

Just finished getting binding on this morning. This quilt is by Krista Moser and was included in her Lollipops and Licorice pattern/kit. I bought the kit and after cutting pieces for the Lollipops you are left with triangle pieces that are trimmed down to 3" the only thing needed to complete this quilt is 1 1/4 yd for background and binding and 1 1/4 yd for the backing. I quilted with continuous curves on my Pfaff Performance 5.0, thank you Hollyanne Knight and FMQA. I'm going to use this pattern to get rid of some of my stash pieces but may increase size of triangles to 4". I am attaching the Lollipops and Licorice top which is coming up soon on my quilting list.

These quilts bring a relaxing smile to my face. They take away the stress of the day and replace them with peace. Thank you for sharing the wonders of the day.

I really like the small Gumdrop the best. At first all I saw were the individual triangles, but with a second look I can see the secondary star pattern also. I can see "softness" in it and it will please any baby or small toddler.
