    Aaahhh I really like this quilt! First quilt I made was a simple nine patch---still one of my favorite patterns

    Your quilting is certainly not boring and thank you for sharing this beautiful project. I want to do something similar with 2" squares and I have that gridded paper to work on. I love all the bright colors you have used.

    the original pattern called for 2 1/2" squares....and there are (12) 14" squares all together of four nine patches....lol hope this maks sense...lol

    I love simple quilts and never find them boring. The old saying "less is more" applies to quilts as well. I enjoy looking at complicated quilts with applique and am fascinated by those who hand quilt. I couldn't stand not to look at any posting by Charisma for the beauty and talent she has taking a simple or complicated quilt from whatever to breath taking. Simple or utilitarian or whatever one wants to call them...I think all quilts are lovely. Mine may never be in a show, but I've never had anyone give back one that I have given away or gifted to someone. My kids and grandkids cherish my quilts and wrap up in the love that was put into each one. Never apologize for a quilt you've made. Each one is precious!

    Well, I don't think it is boring and I love scrappy quilts. It will keep you warm and that is what counts. Thanks for pictures and keep on making quilts!

    Thank you, thank you. I have never done a nine patch. I have so many FQ's I need to use. This would be great for them. Thanks for the idea. It looks like it's so much fun. Will go with any color room. Love it. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK
