You inspired me to get out the book on how to make bargellos that I bought a while back and get started on one of my own! Your colors are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing how you quilt it on your new longarm!

Beautiful! I just bought a Bargello Jacket pattern, will be a 1st for me. Then maybe I can get the courage to try a quilt. How many hours did this one take?

Thanks for the tips. I think you are one amazing woman! I'm going to try this when my son goes back to school. It would be nice to have us both on a schedule. :)

    HI Amy,
I DOn't sleep as much as some..probably 6 hours a night. I just always seem to wake up.
AS far as tips to get stuff done: I make lists of everything I want to accomplish in a certain amount of time.
Then I work on it...I sew everyday..even if it is only for 15 minutes in between chores or whatever. I also run everything like an assembly line.....I don't make a block to see what it will look like first...I cut all of my fabric.....then I start assembling...I hope this helps you?? :)

Well I did it in segments.....I had to have my panels done for before the class...

Then I worked on it here and there for about 9 days ....doing other projects in between...and then put borders on a week after that...so in a nutshell..I don't know.....? Sorry. I knew if I would get bored if I just worked on it solidly for hours on end...

I spent a couple of weeks sewing in the evenings before the class making the strip sets when I made mine. Then the day in class. And if I remember correctly, I had it ready for the guild meeting the next month (our workshops are the day after the meeting). It wasn't quilted at that point. So about a month and a half. I do have a full time job that really cuts into my sewing time. LOL
