Halloween Mug Rug
#11
Love the mug rug and the kitty makes it for sure, might have to do one for every day use with just kitty on it. All the quilt books now have witches, cats, ghosts, etc. so sould be easy to find kitty now in one of them for sure. Have to check mine out. Will post if I find one for sure.

The block is 10" X 7", I used the smaller strips on a log cabin ruler. I now have a ton of strips! The cat was a free applique pattern that I found somewhere. I've searched the web and have not been able to find it again. And I can't seem to figure out the scanner. I'm so sorry. I know that there are a ton of cat appliques out there if you look. Sorry I can't be any more help. I just started putting strips together, I didn't have a set size in mind when I started. As a matter of fact, once I made the block I really didn't know what I was going to do with it.

I'm going to remember this becasue I've inherited a few odds and ends of blocks that need to be made into something. I'd not thought about adding an applique.
