Each block is quilted and it will stay together and not bunch up but it seems to lack something around the cats on each block. Maybe I am use to more quilting from my other quilts that I've hand done. I have it laying out so I can get use to it! The pattern came from Quick Quilts Sept 2007 but I changed it to fit the stack of halloween material that I had on hand and wanted to use! I have never been able to follow a whole pattern- not sure why!!!! It was so simple and went together very easy using qayg

Maybe hand stitch a running stitch in black in the middle of the sashing? Black paws where cornerstones would be? Somehow I'm thinking a touch of black would contain or finish it somehow...

Very pretty, usually QAYG is quilted before it is put together. I'm glad to know it can be quilted after it is finished. Good luck.
