    Default Halloween Quilt Almost done!

    I could use suggestions on quilting for the qayg I just "finished". It is not going to bunch but it seems to lack something in the sashing and around the cats...... I welcome suggestions

    my suggestion is pebbles in the blank cat areas and in the sashing - cat paw prints

    How are your FMQ skills? It is already stabilized so you do any design you want in the background. How about checking out some of Leah Day's designs and do a different one in each background around each cat?
    Forgot to add how adorable it is!!!

    I've never tried fmq but I may try on this one after practicing a while! Thanks for the suggestions and compliments

    I've never made a qayg, so this may be a dumb question. I thought a qayg was that each block was quilted before you attached it to the other blocks. Hence the name "quilt as you go." Teach me something new today. Thanks, and by the way, it is soooo cute. I am a cat lover so I find it especially nice.
