I took a cue from a fellow board member (IraJane) and graphed a jack ' o lantern then used the mini, mini twister tool to make this little Halloween treat. Even knowing there would be shrinkage from the first step to the final piece I was surprised. Really surprised! One suggestion for others who
may use the mini twister - press all seams open, it really reduces bulk in these 1" squares. The border has prairie points that point inward rather than like the traditional outward pointing ones.

The models are my grands - Gabriel is the 4yo with red hair, Elliott is the 18mo old with blond hair. I fondly call them Tootsie Roll and Jelly Bean.

I also finally have an avatar - it is my hand appliqued Vintage Valentine. It is not yet quilted because I can't decide on whether to hand or machine quilt it.
