    This is a picture of my latest quilt, I wish you could see it plainer. I hand painted the poppies and appliqued them on with the freezer paper method, by hand. The poppies are done in trapunto, again by hand. The background is a small meandering with the machine. The pins are still in some of it. I have some black and red poppy fabric to do the borders and it will be twin sized.

    Can you elaborate on how you hand painted the poppies? What brand of fabric paint did you use? Did you paint them dry or wet? What colors did you start with?
