    Wow, thank you for all your lovely comments, I shall post it again when I have completed it fully, I also wanted to say that my two sisters are making this project along with me, we get together once a month and spend an evening working on our own version of the cushion.

    That is way cool! When I looked at the first picture, I thought the background was locker hooked and you appliqued the house and birds, then I looked at the second pic and saw it was your quilting...That is sooo awesome!!!

    Your cushion is fabulous Gal. Can't wait to see it finished. Is the applique needle turn? I should try it one day but always end up doing raw edge applique with machine satin stitch edging.
