Here is one of my hand quilted quilts and the quilting is nothing compared to yours. Yours are all absolutely beautiful.
I think its beautiful. I just hope someone will appreciate it when you pass it on. I am sure if we knew what happened to things we would cry. But we can't worry about it. I love blue. :)

If you made the one in your avatar, I think you are a wonderful talent too. I love the colors. I don't do many planned quilts but love scrappy.

I think that your work is absolutely beautiful!!! I have a similar opinion about all the art quilts and computer quilted quilts that are now in the quilt shows.

Somehow it doesn't seem fair that someone can sit down at a computer, design the quilting, and push a button so the machine does all the detail work. Where is the craft? Is this a computer design & programming show? No, I believe I paid to see a quilt show.

I do machine piece, and I do quilt on my shortarm on a frame, but it's all me using the sewing machine. I rarely even use a quilting motif or stencil. I don't do heirloom quality work like you do, but it's good work.

I think technology is taking the hand crafting skills out of everything. Just MHO

outstanding work! you're so right about handquilting. it's passing. but, our senior center always has a quilt on the frame and there's always people to do the needlework.
