I think that your work is absolutely beautiful!!! I have a similar opinion about all the art quilts and computer quilted quilts that are now in the quilt shows.
Somehow it doesn't seem fair that someone can sit down at a computer, design the quilting, and push a button so the machine does all the detail work. Where is the craft? Is this a computer design & programming show? No, I believe I paid to see a quilt show.
I do machine piece, and I do quilt on my shortarm on a frame, but it's all me using the sewing machine. I rarely even use a quilting motif or stencil. I don't do heirloom quality work like you do, but it's good work.
I think technology is taking the hand crafting skills out of everything. Just MHO
