Here I am again, but this time I think I've got how to send a picture. These two quilts were made for two of my grandchildren in about 1974 or 75. I (as has become the norm for me) designed the main theme myself and then did the quilting by hand on both of them. Since then, I' m trying machine quilting also. Meandering also. But, my first love is hand quilting.

I'm sorry once again - I can't seem to "send" the picture once I click on it. Once again, "HELP"

Your quilts are absolutely beautiful, when I took my first quilt class I was taught to do everything by hand and did enjoy it but have since gone to machine quilting. Most of the quilts I have made are baby quilts and I usually seem to run short on time so the machine is quicker. May try quilting one by hand this winter, right now way too hot in NC to have a quilt laying in my lap. :) :)

WOW Those are really beautiful! And for first quilts? - amazing. My first attempts at hand quilting certainly didn't look like that! LOL

Your work is absolutely beautiful. This is the kind of quilting my grandmother use to do. Your wonderful work brings back wonderful memories.

I totally agree with you, there is nothing like the art of hand quilting. Not too many do it anymore. Wished the younger ones learned how so the art is passed on to our children and grandchildren

P.S . I'm not an expert, as you can see.
I usually go under quote reply. Then at the bottom you will find
file attachments. Hit the browse button. then find your pic and select. You can post 3 at a time. You have to put them under the different boxes. can not post more than once to each box.
The directions are also listed below when you click quote reply.
    Hope this helps
Did I tell you 'thank you' for your help. Gramma8

Wow, those quilts are just gorgeous.

I've never done the actual quilting part before - by machine or hand, and when I finish my quilt top, I'm not sure I know where to go from there. I like the idea of hand quilting. Pouring so much time and hard work into something really makes it feel so much more special.

Your hand quilting is magnificant! I have never been to a quilt show to comment about that. But I am a hand quilter and understand how long it takes. With that being said...WOW! Your quilts are stunning!
