Hand stitched applique sampler

All appliques are hand stitched. Always wanted to prove could do it and I did...today after it sitting for mths I finally got the binding on and now when it cools down will finish the hand sewn binding.

I am trying to teach myself needle turn applique too. Your sampler is a great way to teach yourself how to deal with many different shapes. I love the little pinwheels in the sashing too. The striped binding is the perfect finish.
