Oh, Butterjoy. That's the pits.
If it's any comfort to you, I've been there, done that, and found that with some determination I was able to shove the simplest things through my sewing machine. You'll be surprised how competent you become using that other hand ahd the creative ways you figure out to do things.
The other thing I did was take to working tapestry in a frame. That filled in the time but was not the same.
I know there's not much point in saying get well soon, because you just have to "do the time". However, my thoughts really are with you.
