    I did not use stabilizer, but wish I did. The hankies were not exactly flat or square and that would have helped. Another thing I wished I had done different is that I had used cross hatch quilting across the hankies. I saw some "rescued" antique quilts that had the squares quilted with cross hatching and they were beautiful. I still have some handkerchiefs so that might yet happen.     Your quilt is lovely. I grabbed my mother's hankies when I was cleaning out the house. Keep thinking I will do something with them, just not sure what. Your quilt is a great inspiration

    How very fun! So girly. I have a pattern somewhere for a quilt made from hankies. It is the southern bonnet ladies with the dress made from the hankies. I collected them for years and then gifted them to dotty. A sweet and generous gal who used to be on the quilt board. She wanted them and I thought she should have them. She donated many things to the kid's diabetes auction.
