    It may have been a lot of work but your finsihed product is wonderful. Maybe you don't want to do this for every block on a quilt but perhaps doing the painted blocks or center of a quilt with enlarged painted objects would make them stnad out and be the focal point rather than an over all pattern. :thumbup:
