    That s an awesome idea. I buy batting by the roll too and this will cure a storage dilema. Thanks for sharing

    Did you use another rod slipped through the tube the batting is rolled on? Your son had a great idea and I am going to use it as I also buy batting by the roll.

    Thanks, Polly9 I have about 2ft. above my sliding door and a foot to the left of it. I am putting a 72" tape to measure the length of the batting. that is if I ever get done! Lately, I seem to change direction!(too often) and not get alot done. Thanks again Tinker

    It is very easy this way and becomes easier if you use pullys and some plastic tubing!

    This is how I hang my batting, but I have it in the cellar, I use a wooden dowel for the center. I love it and its easy to measure and cut my batting pieces.
