Default Hanging: double Irish chain with Dresdens

I started out to make a purse. One side is a PP star of my own design. I decided to make the other side a double Irish chain. Unfortunately, I started playing with the pattern and enlarged it. Now it is a wall hanging. My DH told me all along that he hated it and hat3ed the Dresden plates, until he came home from shopping and it was finished. Now he wants it by his desk. NO! It goes by mine. It's not perfect, but I had fun with it. I quilted each row as I added it, then blanket stitched the Dresdens, so I only had to bind it to be done when the top was done.

I saw a sample of these tiny Dresden plates in a quilt store last Saturday. Real cute. But now think of what you can make for your hubby so he won't feel left out !!
