I have had the Janome 6500 for several years now///I LOVE IT.. you will tooo.........actually I use it so much I wore out the foot pedal and had to get another this past week.

Sounds like you have a great husband, just like I do. When he let me get my machine, I hadn't ever done any sewing before, except in home economics in seventh grade. I saw my mom had started makeing quilts and I thought I would like to do that. I started looking for a machine at estate sales and yard sales. He ended up takeing me to a Dealers and that's when I feel in love with my Pfaff 7570. Never having sewn before and not even knowing if I would like it, he got it for me. The 7570 was the top of the line for pfaff at the time. Then they came out with the next top of the line, the 2140. He told me to trade mine in and get the new one. Now, do I have a wonderful husband or what?
