It is done! I love this fabric in fact I love it so much I was like a little kid waiting for Christmas after I ordered it. I even printed the pictures of the fabric from the web site and cut out pieces to see how I would put it together! Besides the main block in the center there are blocks of Turning Twenty and some 4 patches. It is backed with fleece (never again) that I thought was a real find in the red check pattern. I decided instead of the normal tieing I would make X's and tie on the back. The X's were not visioned being even. I also decided to do a reverse binding with the main border. I am really proud of my mitered corners on both sides. The black stitching is suppose to replicate the ants on the checkered tablecloth that borders the main square. I have a new sewing machine and was trying out one of the stitches. I found out the decorative stitches do not like thick stuff but this is just for me and the quilt police will never see it. I machine pieced for the first time and asked my Grannie's forgiveness.

Cute quilt and I love that fabric, too. Need to get some before it's discontinued. We don't RV full time, but we do have a trailer that we use often.

Darling quilt. You don't need to ask Grannie's forgiveness. Grannies treasured machine quilted quilts the way we treasure hand quilted ones. Having a sewing machine and the ability to quilt with it was a sign of wealth.

Some of it is available at several different fabric on line sites. However, Over the Rainbow fabrics had the best selection. And they were very prompt and each cut had a few extra inches.
