    The tone on tone was quite thin and I did not think the heavy embroidery around the applique butterflies would stand up very well so I made the choice to use the heavier sort of 'polished' cotton for the borders. It blends very well and was the best choice as some of the embroideries are very very overstitched.

    Just love it! The daisies are happy, bright and so colorful! You did a fabulous job and I'm sure your daughter will love it! Happy birthday to your daughter. Thanks so much for sharing :thumbup: :thumbup:

    OOOOHHHH !! I LOVE THIS !! If your daughter doesn't like it (how could she NOT ??? like it !) my Birthday was yesterday and I'd love it !! and give it a good home ! What a WONDERFUL gift !
