If you go back to my original post, you will see links for the instructions and info on templates from another QB member, Kathy Aire - she's the one I got them from a few years ago. I'm sorry but I don't have an electronic copy to send you. They were in my computer that crashed last year. Luckily I had printed it prior to the pc crashing. Sorry!

I'm making one of these for my future daughter in law this yr for Christmas but there is a story behind it. A yr ago this past Nov, my son and his girlfriend were awakened in the middle of the night by their dog because the house was on fire. They were very sound alseep and didn't even hear the smoke detector. They managed to get out in time but lost everything in the front of the house; well almost everything. In one of the rooms where all of thier brand new furniture was everything was burned except for an antique cabinet that housed some of my grandmothers dishes. I had given them to my son because he was the only one of my kids that had good memories of her before dementia set in. The other kids only think of her as the mean one. Anyways, my grandmother, my sons DGGM's name was Daisy, the dog that saved my family's life name was also Daisy. I say "was" because this past yr she passed on due to old age. I remembered this quilt and decided it would make a great memory quilt for the dog that saved my family. I called my son to have him get me a picture of Daisy and along with the lable on the back will be a picture of the quilt. He said his girl will love it and he loved the idea too. Even though she brought the dog into his life he had quickly bonded with her too. This is not only the to do list, but the have to do list this yr. You did a great job at it.
