I got the dragon at my LQS. It is a painted batik panel. I've had it for years and I have never found another one. At the same time I got two other panels...the Masks and the Butterfly Garden. I haven't quilted those yet. but the quilted borders are on.

PS: I am working on my clam shell quilt!
Thanks Ube, I am so thinking about the Clams but have decided to paint for a while. Have you seen the clam quilt by Karen Stone? OMG, it is awesome and I want to do mine like it. Maybe, when it gets a bit colder down here in Florida, I will take a week from painting and do the clam

I do everything on the machine. I am a modern woman lol. I sew the front on and then I don't even pin. I just fold a section at a time, hold and sew.

I will try to take those pics today and post them. I had totally forgotten about them as I put them on the big couch and it takes two to cover it.

I tried to count my quilts the other day and gave up hahahahahhaahah...I made an educated guess at 50. They are all rolled up on fabric rollers (the ones fabric come on) in a corner in my quilt and doll room. I had taken pics of the kings size ones and put those on my Pinterest page but still need to take pics of the rest.

I forget now how many years I have been quilting. I would take a guess at 10 years. Now I have sewed all my life professionally but when I discovered quilting, I left the clothes sewing business behind in a jiffy. I love everything about quilting. I do believe it keeps me young lol.
