    Default Happy Holly-days Quilt

My best friend's Mom gave me boxes of assorted fabrics she wasn't going to use since she knows I quilt and sew. So as a thank you, I made this quilt with the Christmas fabrics she gave me. I added a couple from my stash and purchased red flannel for the backing. Since some of the fabrics were directional prints, I used a rail fence block to showcase the fabrics. The green border tied it together like a ribbon on a gift. I appliqued the string of lights on the back to use as the quilt label. The holly and ribbon all over quilting design tied it all together. I named the quilt "Happy Holly-days".
