    Went to my LQS for beary fabric and got three 6" pieces and three 20" pieces and payed 49.60 swiss francs thats $52.30............

    thats why I usualy shop online, even cheaper with shipping and custom

    I have a question. If your are sent a gift from the US do you still have to pay custom fees?

    Wow! If my calculations are right, that comes to about $25 per yard. Unbelievable!

    Why do they have such a mark up on fabric? Or is everything that expensive?

    HOLY COW!!!!!! Until I saw you order online, I was going to offer to buy for you!!!!!! I'm wondering, too, why the large markup in price. Shipping shouldn't be that much more to ship large quantities to Switzerland.....is it the cost of rent for the shops there and other expenditures in Switzerland?

    mailing overseas all depends on how much value you put the on the item(s) sent if they must pay for receiving it.
