    Default Hardest Block Ever!

For Christmas I bought myself the entire kit for the General's Wives quilt. This is a real stretch for me, and I am taking so much care to get this as perfect as is possible (which, for me, means "as good as I can possibly do"; the Quilt Police will never see this!). Yesterday I completed block # 3 - picture below. This is by far the hardest block I have ever made in my 3 years as a quilter. It is a 12" square. Not all the points are all as pointed as they should be, but all the stripes are running in the same direction, which was an accomplishment all by itself. I'm really proud of myself and just had to brag a bit.

You did a great job. And, your points are alot better than mine - and I've been quilting since the 70s

Wonderful job. Your points are great. You can't see them unless you really look close, in fact if you hadn't said something I wouldn't have been looking.

It looks like a hard one, but yours looks great to me. You will be proud of it when you get finished for sure.
