At my advanced age, I'm a 1st time cat owner. We love our little Jetta. I tell him just because he was found on the street, doesn't prove that he isn't of royal blood! We just know he's a "Prince" and he knows it, too.

Yup. The cat ignores the process until I start the free motion quilting and then she feels she must hold down the quilt! Bad kitty. Oops, kitty on the floor, woop, kitty on the quilt again! Love my cat and love my quilting, just wish I could love them both at the same time. Thanks for the giggle this morning.

My kitty, Shelagh, has her own batik baby quilt to lay on in the quilt room. Problem is, once she is in there, she never wants to leave. She will hide behind the sewing cabinet when it is time to leave. She thinks the room is hers, but she isn't to be trusted without supervision. I won't trust her with my Featherweight...she doesn't have the tension figured out yet.

I see you are not schooled in the ways of being owned by a cat. There is no moving an arm when a cat is using it for a pillow. There is no standing up when a cat is sleeping in a lap. There is no laundry folding while a cat is sleeping in the basket of warm-from-the-dryer clothes! And there is absolutely no re-positioning of a quilt to sew when a cat is sleeping on it! HAHAHA. I love this picture. Anyone who has ever had the wonderful experience of cat ownership understands what a gift it is to have one like yours!
