Default Harley Davidson Quilt for SIL

Recently married daughter's DH is a Harley Davidson fan. He picked the fabrics for this quilt. I have color issues so was not terribly inspired by his choices, However, it is for him so his fabric choices were honored.

Turned out much better than I thought it would.

The center is a HD bandana bought from a local HD dealer. The bandana fabric is not particularly high quality, but I know will only be judged for it's beauty to a Harley Davidson lover.

The back is a black fleece with multi-colored flames on it. Looks good.

love it. I have looked for HD fabric for years. My friends that used HD in Dubuque, Iowa told me their is no fabric out there.

I do have some from Sturges SD fabric shop that says 75th anniversary but you can't get it anymore

There is a fabric store in Sturges that sells bike fabric

Yes, HD fabric is difficult to find, hence the use of the bandana as the center of the quilt. SIL is a chef and likes 'hogs' so the blue fabric was his choice.
