    That is one awesome quilt! What's the secret to not hand-sewing the binding? I see triangles on the backing...that is for hanging? How do you do that?
    I'm getting ready to bind a quilt and put a hanger on, so that's why I'm asking. :D

    You did an awesome job desiging and stitiching this quilt!!! Perfect choice for quilting, too!! Your BIL is going to flip when he sees this quilt :D :D :D

    I sewed the binding to the front 1st. I made triangles for the hanging pockets large enough to support the quilt for hanging with a dowel rod. Then sewed them to the back. Then I folded the binding to the back & glued it with Fabri-Tac (WOW is that strong stuff). Then sewed from the front with a decorative stitch.

    Great quilt design and you did a fab job on the FMQ. I love the backing fabric.

    I am not a Harley girl but I would love that! How unique and I know he will love it. beautiful work.
    What stitch did you use on the front binding? My thumb has what your thumb has.
