Has anyone used this pen to mark your quilt top for hand quilting?

I have also used it and never had a problem. I also like the air erase pens, which is what I am using now on a quilt-marks last for about 24 hours or a little longer, and just disappear. I have used the water erasable pens and even just a fine mist spray of water from a bottle will erase it.

what every marking tool you pick up and want to try---you need to test first! on every project- sometimes they come out just like they should- other times ...not so much- no matter what it says- no matter what we say- always test for yourself-
i ruined a beautiful 90 year old quilt top one time using a water erasable marker the lady at the lqs told me to use- we did not test it we just grabbed it and marked away- well- not only did it not come out but it also bled right through to the back- ruined quilt-
so don't take anyones word for it test it and see if it will in fact come out.
(the same marker worked just fine on a different project-no idea why it didn't work on the important one)
now i tend to just use a pencil- but i still always test to make sure it is going to in fact come out.

Have you tried these pens? I was told the other night at a quilting class that the ink comes back when the fabric gets cold. I would be very careful using it on white until I had really tried it to see if the ink comes back. I don't know from experience, just passing on what I was told.

I have used the blue (water) and purple (air). I have had no problem with the blue, but be careful with the purple. I thought it had disappeared (couldn't see it on the quilt) but when I ironed over it, it reappeared. So, for both colors, I make sure I do not hit it with the iron.
