    I too have seen the slanted star but always with the stars going in one direction not both, really like yours.

    Can someone tell me where I can find this pattern? I looked up the hatchet and disappearing scraps but couldn't find it..beautiful quilt

    Very similar to the top I just finished. I started out with a similar layout. I was going from a photo on Pinterest, no pattern and I cut my squares for the corners too small. Then found a picture on this board of the same pieces but with sashing. So thankful! Was able to salvage the project by incorporating the sashing. Taking mine to the guild meeting Tuesday night for signatures
    I love the movement your quilt has. Reminds me of ripples in the water when you throw a rock in the lake.

    Pretty scrappy quilt. I understand the scrap thing. I have been sorting out a couple of little bins of scraps-where do they come from!

    Very similar to Bonnie Hunter's Smoky Mountain Stars on Quiltville. Love your setting.
